JACKSON, Miss. – The Jackson State baseball team heads to Monroe, La. to face the University of Louisiana – Monroe in search of its first out of conference road win Wednesday, March 15.
The Tigers (12-6) will be facing the Warhawks (4-13) for the second time this season after falling 10-2 to ULM on their home field. JSU enters Wednesday’s competition after defeating Rust College 9-2 and 17-4 in doubleheader action on Monday and taking a 13-8 loss at Southern on Tuesday.
ULM enters Wednesday competition on a nine-game losing streak. Most recently, the Warhawks took a a 3-2 loss against the University of Birmingham – Alabama on Sunday. ULM will be looking to end that streak hosting the Tigers.
The Tigers will face ULM at Warhawk Field located on the campus of the University of Louisiana – Monroe. The first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
