JACKSON, Miss. – The first session of the Jackson State University More Than A Game summer camps is completely filled. JSU recently received a $952,000 grant from the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) to support community engagement, which includes free summer camps on the main campus for approximately 400 youths, as well as professional development for adults.
JSU will hold a pair of camps, with the first session being held July 10-14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each camp session will accommodate 200 children. Registration for the next camp will begin on July 6 with the camp session being held July 17-21.
