STARKVILLE, Miss. --  Several members of Jackson State University's outdoor track and field teams turned in Top 3 finishes at Mississippi State's Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays over the weekend.
 
Graduate student Hannah White had a pair of Top 3 finishes, finishing second in the discus throw with a heave of 47.73 meters. The Chandler, Ariz. native finished third in the shot put with a throw of 14.29 meters.
 
On the men's side, sophomore Adell Colthrust, a Brooklyn, N.Y. native, crossed the finish line in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.44, good enough for second place. His teammate, senior Castro Valley, Calif. native Austin Fields, performed well in the high jump with a leap of 1.99 meters, notching third place.
 
The Tigers and Lady Tigers' will compete next at the Southern Miss Invitational in Hattiesburg, Miss. on Friday and Saturday, April 1-2.
