Jackson State University quarterback Shedeur Sanders completed his first 17 passes in throwing more touchdown passes than interceptions as the Tigers dominated Florida A&M 59-3 in the Orange Blossom Classic.
 
Sanders threw a career-high five touchdown passes with only four incompletions in throwing for 323 yards in completing 29 of 33 passes.
 
Sanders threw a pair of touchdown passes to Shane Hooks, and Sanders also completed scoring passes to Dallas Daniels, Rico Powers, and Hayden Hagler as the defending champion SWAC Champion Tigers were dominant in every facet.
 
In the second half, cornerback Ke'vric Wiggins returned an interception 35 yards for a third-quarter touchdown, linebacker Aubrey Miller Jr. returned a fumble 19 yards for a touchdown, and safety Herman Smith III returned a blocked punt 17 yards for a touchdown.
 
The JSU offense gained 471 yards, including 139 on the ground. Defensively, the Tigers limited FAMU to only 155 yards, forced four turnovers, and made four sacks.
