JACKSON, Miss. – Alcorn State defeated Jackson State 41-6 Saturday afternoon in SWAC action from Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.
 
The Tigers complete their season 4-8 and 3-4 in SWAC play. Alcorn improved to 8-3 and 6-1 in the conference.
 
Jalon Jones went 7-of-16 for 102 yards, while Warren Newman finished with two grabs for 67 yards, including a long of 50 yards.
 
Keshawn Harper scored JSU's lone touchdown on a one-yard plunge on the opening drive of the third quarter.
