Aubrey Miller Jr. was named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) FCS All-American team, announced Thursday.

Miller was named second-team All-America as he continues to add to his accolades from a stellar 2022 season in helping JSU football to an undefeated regular season and second consecutive Southwestern Athletic Conference championship. Among his numerous awards, Miller has been named to several All-SWAC teams along with being named SWAC Defensive Player of the Year, BOXTOROW HBCU All-America and National Defensive Player of the Year, Associated Press FCS All-America, and Stats Perform FCS All-America.

Miller, who was also a Buck Buchanan Award finalist as FCS Defensive Player of the Year, made 112 tackles (59 solo), with two sacks, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four quarterback hits, five pass breakups, and one touchdown. He recorded eight+ tackles in a game seven times, including four 10+ tackle games. Miller tied a career-high with 19 tackles against Texas Southern, made 17 tackles against Alabama A&M, and 11 tackles at Alcorn. He also scored a touchdown on a 19-yard fumble return against Florida A&M.
