Serdarion Locke joined the Jackson State University Athletics staff in August of 2023 as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. Locke comes from Western Kentucky University where he served as the Director of Compliance, overseeing Bylaws 11, 12, 13, and 16. He was also co-chair of the department's DEI committee.
 
Prior to arriving at Western Kentucky, Locke spent some time at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as the Assistant Director of Compliance. There he was the compliance liaison for the women's cross country and track and field teams, women's golf team, and men's and women's tennis teams. Other responsibilities included oversight of camps and clinics and the rules education platform. Locke was also a proud member of UNLV's DEI committee.
 
A native of Frisco City, Alabama, Locke graduated from Alabama State University in 2017 with a degree in Business Management. While there, he served as the manager for the women's soccer and women's basketball teams before joining the administrative staff as an intern. Locke is a member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC).

He is also a member of Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
