WACO, Texas | Jackson State made its first appearance in the FCS Stats Perform Top 25 this week following its win over Mississippi Valley State, appearing at No. 23.

Jackson State (8-2, 6-0 SWAC), winners of six consecutive games, picked up 145 points leaving them just behind Duquesne in the poll this week. They are also ahead of Central Arkansas and Northern Arizona this week.

The Tigers, who play at Alabama State on Saturday, also remain at No. 20 in the AFCA poll.
