FLOWOOD, Miss. | Jackson State battled overcast and windy conditions at The Refuge on Tuesday to shoot a final round 19-over (307) to finish in a tie for sixth place at the Belhaven Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.
JD Berndt led the Tigers throughout the tournament, finshing sixth overall after a 1-over (73) final round. He finished the tournament with a 4-over (148), just seven shots off the lead and just two shots out of a top-five finish. Meanwhile, Kaden Tibbetts shot a 3-over (76) in the final round to finish tied for 21st in the tournament with a 11-over (155), while Ekam Singh rounded out the top 25 for Jackson State with a 12-over (156).
