JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State fell to Alabama State at home on Monday morning, moving to 2-1 in conference play. 

Alabama State (6-8, 1-0 SWAC) won the doubles point, despite the Jackson State duo of Jhoan Vaquero and Fabrizio Fallas extending their match to a 5-7 decision.

In singles competition, Federico Pickenstainer dropped a 1-6, 1-6 decision at number two and Vaquero dropped a 2-6, 2-6 decision at number four.
