NEW ORLEANS, La. | The Jackson State men's tennis fell to the Alabama State Hornets on Sunday afternoon in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship.
The Tigers finished the season with a 9-11 overall after finishing in third place in the SWAC.
After dropping the doubles point, Jackson State fought hard in singles competition but could not overcome the Hornets' level of play.
Federico Pickenstainer was the closest to winning a set, but he ultimately lost his first set 3-6 before dropping the match.
