Jackson State represented in Super Bowl LX

Jackson State will be represented in Super Bowl LX when the New England Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks, with former Tiger linebacker Milton Patterson on the sideline as a defensive assistant for the Patriots.

Patterson was a four-year letterwinner on the football team at Jackson State as a linebacker, earning All-SWAC honors. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation/recreational therapy in 2013. Patterson's first coaching job was at his alma mater, Jackson State, where he was an assistant strength and conditioning coach and defensive analyst from 2012-14.

Following his stint at Jackson State, Patterson has had stops at Missisippi Valley State, Alabama State, Clark Atlanta, Fayetteville State, and Florida A&M.
