NATCHITOCHES, La. | Jackson State dropped a 5-2 match on the road to Northwestern State at Jack Fisher Lady Demon Complex on Thursday afternoon.
In singles play, junior
Paula Corbalan picked up a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 victory at number one, while
Tiara Alvarez won her match against Lolita Hukasian in a 6-3, 6-2 win, giving Jackson State (0-3) two points.
Isabella Benavides also battled in a tight three-set contest against Martina Acebedo Bonocore before falling 5-7, 7-5, 10-8 in the final set at number four.
