HATTIESBURG, Miss. | Jackson State suffered a road loss to Southern Miss Golden Eagles on Friday afternoon.

Despite losing the doubles point, both teams of Ching Chang Chiu and Chen Hung-Yu, as well as Fabrizio Fallas and Gokalp Ayar, scored three points in their respective matches.

Hung-Yu and Chiu also recorded six and five points, respectively, in their second sets.
