HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | After another undefeated day of competition, the Jackson State women's bowling team claimed the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) regular season championship with a stellar 22-2 record against conference opponents.
The Tigers continued their high-level play in day two with an 878-775 victory over the Southern Jaguars in their first match of the day. They went on to defeat the Alabama A&M Bulldogs (870-851) and the Florida A&M Rattlers (980-780) in the next two games. They wrapped up the day with wins over the no. 2 seed Alabama State Hornets (867-826) and the Grambling State Tigers (885-547) to secure the title.
With one more day of competition to go, three Tigers find themselves in the top 10.
Faith Washington remains in the third-place spot with a 188.50 average and 1,881 total pins, followed by
Tiara Henderson and
MacKenzie Conway at the sixth and seventh spots.
