Berndt leads Jackson State at ASU Spring Classic

MONTGOMERY, Ala. |  JD Berndt led Jackson State at the ASU Spring Classic hosted by Alabama State, shooting 12-over (228) for the three rounds at the Arrowhead Country Club.

The freshman posted a season-best 1-under (71) in the second round, finishing tied for 27th in the tournament at 12-over (228). He was followed by Ekam Singh in 32nd place at 16-over (232), using a 2-over (74) in the second round, and by Kaden Tibbetts at 17-over (233). 

Jackson State finished seventh at 60-over (924).
