BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Faith Washington and Paige Hubert earned Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) weekly awards for their performance at the Music City Classic this past weekend, announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Washington, who was named Bowler of the Week, finished the weekend with an average of 196.60, knocking down 983 pins in 5 games. Hubert was given the nod for Newcomer of the Week after ending the final regular season tournament with a 186.80 average and 934 pin total. Their performance helped the Tigers excel against a stacked field in Smyrna, Tenn., including a big win over No. 8 Youngstown State in the Traditional round.
