JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State's women's tennis team shut out the Mississippi Valley State Lady Delta Devils at home with a 5-0 victory on Friday afternoon for their third conference win of the season.

Jackson State (5-9, 2-0 SWAC) was perfect in doubles play as Victoria Linkovski and Helen Hernandez, Paula Corbalan and Isabella Benavides, and Daniela Tovar and Tiara Alvarez all earned 6-0 wins.

Hernandez started the Lady Tigers off with a 6-0,6-0 win at number five, while Alvarez followed with an identical 6-0,6-0. Benavides and Linkovski continued the momentum as they both went 6-0, 6-0 at numbers four and three to seal the deal for the Tigers.
