BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | 181 Jackson State student-athletes were named to the 2025-2026 SWAC Commissioner's Honor Roll, the conference announced Friday morning.

The SWAC Commissioner's Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.

Jackson State also earned the SWAC Academic Success Award. This award is decided based upon each member institution's collective ranking in the categories of highest four-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) average, highest single-year APR average, and highest Graduate Success Rate (GSR).
 
JSU claimed the Academic Success Award finishing with a total of 31 points based upon the point scale system used to determine an institutional winner.

Jackson State had a total of 83 graduates during the 2025-2026 academic year. The Tigers finished with a department cumulative GPA of 3.309 and a department term GPA of 3.290. 

Football, women's basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, men's and women's tennis, women's track and field, bowling and men's and women's golf finished with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. 40 student-athletes recorded a 4.0 term GPA.
