SUWANEE, Ga. | The Jackson State golf programs return to action this week, competing in the Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Golf Classic at the Bears Best Golf Club, hosted by the Black College Golf Coaches Association.

On the men's side, Jackson State will match up with Southern, Chicago State, North Carolina Central, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Alabama State. Meanwhile, on the women's side, the Tigers will face Delaware State, North Carolina Central, Texas Southern, Southern, Fisk, Chicago State, and South Carolina State.

The golf course is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design, and he selected 18 holes from his more than 300 courses worldwide to create one extraordinary round at the signature-designed Bear's Best Atlanta. Among the courses featured are Castle Pines, Muirfield Village, PGA National Championship Course, Sherwood Country Club, Shoal Creek, and Gleneagles. The course was voted in Golfweek's Top 10 Georgia courses and Top 200 residential courses in the U.S.; our 18-hole masterpiece is made up of some of Jack Nicklaus' most iconic hole designs around the world.
