Ohio State Career (2019-21): Joined the Ohio State football program in the fall of 2019 as a preferred walk-on, turning down scholarship offers from South Alabama, Fordham and Morehead State in the process and preferred walk-on status at a Southeastern Conference school...honored with 2020 Academic All-Big Ten Conference status and is a two-time OSU Scholar-Athlete.

High School: Led all state of California passers in completions as a senior in 2018 for coach Steve Bogan and Bonita High School, completing 299 of his 449 attempts for 4,366 yards and 39 touchdowns, all of which are school records...named offensive MVP of the Palomares League in 2019 after leading Bonita to a 10-3 season on the field...also named the Saginaw Valley Tribune player of the year...threw for 9,423 yards in his career including finishing No. 3 in California history with 702 completions...a Nike regional invitee to The Open...Two-time football team captain at Bonita High School
