Before Jackson State: Made 48 tackles (32 solo) with 2.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions and five pass breakups in 2022 at NW Mississippi CC... Made season-high nine tackles (six solo) vs. Jones College (Nov. 5)... Tallied one interception in back-to-back games and three contests over four games against Holmes (Oct. 20 with four tackles and three PBU), at Northeast Miss. CC (Oct. 27 with three tackles and one PBU), and East Mississippi (Nov. 5).
High School: Played for coach Toby Collums at Madison Central... Helped the Jaguars to a 13-1 record and the MHSAA Class 6A state championship as a senior... Had seven tackles in the championship game... Tallied 87 tackles, 49 solo, two for loss, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery during his final campaign... Added 772 all-purpose yards, including 580 on punt/kick returns and 136 interception return yards... Had 168 total tackles and 10 interceptions during his three-year varsity career... Selected to the Mississippi Association of Coaches 6A All-State first team as a kick returner... Named to the North squad on the Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic roster...
