TyQuan Hammock

TyQuan Hammock was named JSU Football linebackers coach in February 2023.

Hammock joins Tiger Nation after spending 2022 season as the assistant cornerbacks coach at Northern Illinois University. 

In 2021, Hammock was on the staff at Lafayette as linebackers coach. Hammock spent the 2020 season as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa. 

In 2019, Hammock was a graduate assistant at Northern Illinois, working with the linebackers. That followed a 2018 season during which he broke into collegiate coaching at Kentucky Christian University as defensive backs coach. 

Hammock is a 2013 graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and was a three-time letterman and a member of the Big 10 Conference Championship team in 2010.

Hammock is married to his wife, Kenya, and has two daughters, Kyleigh and Sadie.
