Brandon Morton was named JSU running backs coach in February 2023 and is in his second year at #TheeILove.
 
In 2022, as a graduate assistant coaching running backs, he helped RB Sy'veon Wilkerson post the first 1,000-rushing season at JSU since 1999 as the Tigers went undefeated in league play for the second straight year and won their second straight SWAC Championship.

Morton was also a student assistant in strength and conditioning at Charleston Southern (2019) after playing running back at Charleston Southern and San Diego State.

The Beaufort, S.C. native is the son of Alan and Karen Morton and is the youngest of six siblings - older brothers Brian, Alan, Ali, and Anthony, and older sister Alison.
