Trinity Ahing

Trinity Ahing begins her first year at Jackson State as the assistant golf coach for the men’s and women’s programs, joining the department in July 2025.

During her playing career, Ahing was co-caption at North Carolina Central (2024-25). She played in the final group individually and with the team at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship (2024, 2025), and won the North Carolina Women’s State Amateur championship in 2023. She earned All-NEC honors in 2025 at North Carolina Central, and was a two-time All-Tournament selection (2024, 2025).

Prior to North Carolina Central, Ahing helped lead Sandhills Community College to a national championship.

When not on the golf course as a student-athlete, Ahing worked at Emerald Golf Club (New Bern, N.C.) and Longleaf Golf & Family Club (Pinehurst, N.C.). She also interned at Emerald Gulf Club, getting hands-on experience with event and tournament planning.

Ahing earned her Associates Degree from Sandhills Community College before earning a Bachelor of Science in Behavorial and Social Sciences from North Carolina Central in August 2023. She currently pursuing her Master of Science in Kinesiology and Recreation Administration from North Carolina Central.
