Jackson State University

Jamie Harrison begins her first year as the Compliance Coordinator at Jackson State, joining the department in January 2026.

She comes to Jackson State after a year as a graduate assistant in Compliance at the University of West Georgia. While in Carrollton, she supported the office with monitoring, documentation, and education to ensure adherence to NCAA rules and regulations. She also assisted in developing educational materials and presentations for student-athletes, coaches, and staff. Prior to that, she served as an Athletic Operations Intern at Elizabeth City State University (Fall 2023) and a Marketing Intern at Princeton University (Summer 2023).

Harrison received an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Mercer County Community College in 2020, and an Associate of Arts degree in Communication degree in 2021. She also received an Associate of Science degree from Mercer County Community College in 2021. Harrison earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Elizabeth City State in December 2023, before earning her Master of Science in Sports Management from West Georgia in July 2025.
