Tigers Season Comes to End With Loss to PVAMU in Semifinals

Box Score ITTA BENA, Miss. - The Jackson State Lady Tigers volleyball team finished its season on Saturday afternoon, falling to Prairie View A&M in three sets in the SWAC Tournament Semifinals.

Prairie View A&M took the first set 25-14 to take a 1-0 lead before taking the next two sets 25-13 and 25-23.

Camry Dabney tallied a team-high 10 kills while DeKyra Dennis put together 16 assists.

Jylen Whitten had six kills and Damassy Thompson had 11 assists. Thompson also had six digs behind Alana Washington with 15 digs.

The Tigers wrapped up the 2019 season with an overall record of 18-19 and 13-5 SWAC play.
