Box Score AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Jackson State fell to Air Force on Sunday afternoon in the first of two road matchups out in Colorado.
Air Force (3-5) took the win by a final score of 76-52 over JSU (1-7), after outshooting the Blue and White 26-of-44 (59.1 percent) to 20-of-58 (34.5 percent) from the field.
Miles Daniels led JSU with 19 points on 7-of-20 shooting. He also had a three high five 3-pointers made.
Tristan Jarrett had 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting, three assists, and one steal in 15 minutes on the court.Â
Jayveous McKinnis had a near double-double in the contest with 10 points and nine rebounds.Â
Jonas James led the Tigers with four assists and also added eight points.Â
As a team, the Tigers scored 29 points off of the bench and 18 points in the paint.
Jackson State returns to the court on Tuesday with a matchup versus Denver University in Denver (Colo.) beginning at 8 p.m. (CT).
