JACKSON – New Orleans defeated Jackson State 21-2 in a non-conference tilt at Braddy Field.
 
In JSU's part of the third, Jaylyn Williams slugged a two-run home run to left field for his third home run of the season.
 
Chandler Dillard batted 2-for-2 with a run scored and Kyland Richey batted 1-for-2 and walked once.
 
Rahman Williams, Marshal Luiz, J. Williams and Dillard each were hit by a pitch.
 
JSU opens conference play Friday versus Alabama A&M. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
