BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Jackson State men's and women's team competed against the likes of Troy and UAB over the weekend in Birmingham, Ala.
On the women's side, the Lady Tigers fell 4-2 to Troy University Saturday as
Sofia Beggiatto picked up a singles win over Svitlica Tijana by scores of 6-4, 6-3.
The Lady Tigers then fell to UAB by a score of 4-0 to fall to 6-8 overall on the season. On the men's team, the Tigers were defeated by UAB by a score of 4-0. The men fall to 1-8 to begin the 2020 season.
Both teams return to action Wednesday as they play host to Mississippi College beginning at 4 p.m. at the JSU Tennis Complex.
