PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas - The Lady Tigers came up shy to Prairie View A&M on Sunday afternoon in conference play, falling by a final score of 3-2.

Annalise Brunson pushed her fourth goal of the season through the back of the net in the 26th minute of play to pull the Lady Tigers to within a 2-1 deficit.
PVAMU used a late minute goal in the 88th minute of action to extend their lead back out to a two goal lead, 3-1.
Yet, exactly 42-seconds later, with time running out in the final seconds of the match,
Megan Howell put JSU back on the board with a goal to make it 3-2.
Unfortunately, the Lady Tigers fell just shy, as PVAMU went on to win by a final of 3-2. As a team, JSU finished with eight shots with six shots on goal.
Brunson led JSU with one goal and one assist on Howell's goal.
Tanagna Payne led JSU with two shots in the game, with one shot on goal.
The Lady Tigers fall to 3-2 overall and in SWAC play but will look to get back on the winning side on Friday versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff at home. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
