MADISON, Miss. - The Jackson State soccer program fell to Grambling Sunday afternoon by a final of 3-0 in SWAC play in the home finale at Madison Ridgeland Academy.
Grambling got of the board first with a 23rd minute penalty kick that crossed through the back of the net to give GSU a 1-0 lead.
In the second half of play, Grambling once again added a goal in the 52nd minute and a third goal in the 77th minute of the match to go up 3-0.
The Lady Tigers of Grambling went on to defeat JSU by a final of 3-0 as JSU fell to 4-3 overall on the season. As a team, Jackson State had seven shots with seven different Lady Tigers claiming a shot.

Sydni Wilson, and Maya Thompson each had a shot on goal in the match.
McKenna Light played 67 minutes of action in the goal with six saves.
Jackson State returns to action on Friday for the regular season finale on the road at Southern in Baton Rouge, La.
