TALLAHASSEE, FLA - The Jackson State men's basketball team will shift their focus to Florida A&M as they face the Rattlers Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET inside Al Lawson Center.  

After winning its last two conference games, the Tigers (4-13. 2-4 SWAC) dropped their last contest to Bethune-Cookman Saturday 55-50. Jayveous McKinnis who was just shy of a triple double scoring a team-high 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 blocks. Ken Evans Jr. also finished in double figures for the Tigers with 14 points and six boards off the bench. 

FAMU (6-11, 4-2 SWAC) is currently on a four-game winning streak with wins over Grambling State, UAPB, Mississippi Valley and recently defeating Alcorn State, 70-68. 

The Rattlers currently rank second in the SWAC and they are led by MJ Randolph who is the leading scorer in the SWAC averaging 20.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Jalen Speer is also averaging 10.3 points per game. 

Monday marks the first meeting between the two programs on the hardwood. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on the FAMU Athletics Facebook Page.
