HUNTSVILLE, ALA - Jackson State will plays its second road conference game of the season on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. CT against Alabama A&M at the T.M. Elmore Gymnasium to close out the Alabama road swing. 

JSU (2-11, 0-2 SWAC) dropped their last contest to Alabama State 72-57 on Saturday evening at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome. 

Three Tigers scored in double figures with Chance Moore leading the way off the bench scoring a season-high 21 points. Jayveous McKinnis finished with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Terence Lewis II rounded added 10 points. 

Moore increased his scoring average to 8.2 points per game, behind only Gabe Watson (14.9) and McKinnis (12.2).  

Alabama A&M (3-10, 2-1 SWAC) won its first two SWAC games of the season a week ago, defeating UAPB 70-50 and Mississippi Valley 72-67. The Bulldogs dropped their last contest to Alcorn State yesterday, 78-71. 

Forward Jalen Johnson leads the team in scoring at 14.8 points per game.  He has scored in double figures in 12 of 13 games this season and has made 36 free throws. Garret Hicks is also averaging double figures at 14.1 points per game.

JSU leads the all-time series over Alabama A&M, 24-12. Saturday will mark the 37th meeting between JSU and Alabama A&M. The two teams played last season which resulted in a 50-35 win for the Tigers. 

Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. CT and the game will be streamed live on the AAMU Athletics Youtube Network.
