HAMMOND, La. – Several members of Jackson State University's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams posted impressive numbers at Southeastern Louisiana University's Strawberry Relays on Saturday.
The Lady Tigers, meanwhile, had 10 Top 3 finishes with
Hannah White finishing second in both the discus throw (51.43m) and shot put (15.00m) as well as
Kymoi Noray finishing second in the javelin throw (41.26m).
Carrington Blair finished third in two events, the 200-meter dash (25.09) and 400-meter dash (57.47).
In the men's division, the Tigers notched three Top 3 finishes, highlighted by
Jallah Galimah's first place finish in the 1,500-meter run. He ran a winning time of 3:56.70 in that event.
