The Jackson State University baseball team lost to Bethune-Cookman 13-2 Sunday in the finale of the three -game Southwestern Athletic Conference series at Braddy Field.
 
Jackson State scored both its runs in the third inning.  With one out, Jatavis Melton doubled down the left field line. With two out, Ty Hill singled through the left side and advanced to second on the throw as Melton scored. Jaelen Williams then followed with a single to right, scoring Hill.
 
Hill, Williams and Devontae Rhodes each had two hits for the Tigers, who return to action Wednesday at Louisiana-Monroe at 6 p.m.
