Jackson State Drops Alabama State Matchup at Home

JACKSON, Miss.| The Jackson State volleyball team lost to Alabama State Hornets in four sets (22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 14-25) Sunday afternoon at home at Lee E Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The Tigers found a momentum boost with a third set victory, but they were unable to keep it up in the fourth set.

The Tigers were led by a double-double from Nyjha Marcelin, who registered 12 kills and 12 digs on the day. Hope Briggs also added 12 kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Trinity Bryant chipped in for with 15 digs to go with five blocks from Kyahana Robinson.
