JACKSON, Miss.| The Jackson State volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory (25-11, 25-21, 25-22) against Bethune-Cookman Friday evening at home at Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The victory moved the Tigers' record to 14-9 overall and 10-3 in SWAC action.
Jackson State was led by a double-double from Alexis Williams, who registered 10 kills and 11 digs on the day. Hope Briggs also added nine kills to help the offense.Trinity Bryant also pitched in with five in the contest. On the defensive end, Bryant chipped in for with 12 digs to go with one blocks from Jordan Jones.
