Dallas Daniels concluded a strong practice week with a pair of receptions in Thursday's East-West Shrine Game at Allegiant Stadium.
Daniels (6-1, 180; Dayton, Ohio) made two catches for 16 yards for the West team in its 12-3 win over the East squad.
In his one season at Jackson State, Daniels earned first-team All-SWAC honors, catching 63 passes for 692 yards and six touchdowns. He ranked third in the SWAC in both receptions and receiving yards, and fourth in touchdowns. Among his top games this season, Daniels caught seven passes for 120 yards and three touchdowns against Grambling, followed by a 10-catch, 142-yard game against Mississippi Valley.
Daniels is the second Jackson State player to compete in a college football all-star game ahead of the 2023 National Football League Draft. CB
