The two-time defending Southwestern Athletic Conference Champion Jackson State men's cross country team, as well as the women's team, return to action Saturday at Louisiana Monroe.
 
The women will run at 8:15 a.m., followed by the men at 8:55 a.m.
 
Several personal bests finishes lead the way for the men at Mississippi College on Sept. 1. Senior Jeremiah Hudson was the top JSU finisher with a personal-best time of 17:34, followed by junior Caleb Crutcher's personal-best time of 18:13.
 
The Lady Tigers had one athlete in the field at Mississippi College, with freshman Kaylin Jackson posting a time of 22:06 in her collegiate debut.
