BIRMINGHAM, Ala.| The Jackson State soccer team claims the No. 5 seed heading into the 2024 SWAC Soccer Tournament. JSU will take on No. 4 Alabama A&M at 1 p.m. Thursday on SWAC Digital Network. The Tigers finished the season 2-8-5 overall and 2-2-4 in conference play. 

Texas Southern (6-1-1 SWAC) enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed after claiming the regular season title on Friday night. Grambling State claimed the No. 2 seed (6-2 SWAC), while Southern claimed the No. 3 seed (5-1-2 SWAC) followed by No. 4 seed Alabama A&M (4-3-1 SWAC). Alabama State claimed the No. 6 seed (2-3-3 SWAC), while Mississippi Valley State claimed the No. 7 seed (1-3-4 SWAC) followed by No. 8 seed Prairie View A&M (0-4-4 SWAC).

In the event of a tie in conference records the league's tiebreaker policy was used to determine final seedings.
  
The tournament will be played in a single-elimination format with action set to start at 10:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, Nov. 7th with games slated to run through Sunday, Nov. 10th at the PVAMU Soccer Complex.
 
All tournament games will be available live on the SWAC Digital Network.

Match 1 – No. 1 Texas Southern vs. No. 8 Prairie View A&M- 10:00 am
Match 2 – No. 4 Alabama A&M vs. No. 5 Jackson State- 1:00 pm
Match 3 – No. 2 Grambling State vs. No. 7 Mississippi Valley State- 4:00 pm
Match 4 – No. 3 Southern vs. No. 6 Alabama State- 7:00 pm

Friday, November 8
Match 5 – Winner Match 1 vs. Winner Match 2 - 3:00 pm  
Match 6 – Winner Match 3 vs. Winner Match 4 - 6:00 pm 
 
Sunday, November 10
Match 7 – Championship- 1:00 pm
