WACO, Texas | Fresh off of a 41-3 victory at homecoming for its fifth consecutive victory, Jackson State moved up three spots to No. 20 in this week's AFCA FCS Coaches Poll presented by Hudl, released on Monday morning.
 
Jackson State (7-2, 5-0 SWAC) appeared in the poll initially at No. 25 following its win over Florida A&M before moving to No. 23 two weeks and held that spot last week. The Tigers' homecoming victory on Saturday earned them 144 total votes this week.
 
The Tigers return to action in their final regular season home game against Mississippi Valley State on Saturday afternoon.
