NEW ORLEANS, La.| The Jackson State men's tennis team blanked Prairie View A&M Friday afternoon in top open play in the SWAC Tennis Championship Tournament. The Tigers advance to the semifinals after a 4-0 win at the City Park Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers opened the match sealing the doubles point as Federick Pickenstainer and Carlos Castillo defeated their opponents 6-0.
- Alejandro Pinilla and Gokalp Ayar fell 6-3 in their doubles match forcing Raul Centeno and Ching Chang Chiu to decide the point.
- Centeno and Chiu fought hard for a 7-6 doubles win as JSU was able to hold off PV in doubles competition.
- The Tigers breezed to a few singles victories starting with Ayar's 6-2, 6-0 win.
- Chiu defeated PV's Jadyn Boone 6-1, 6-1 in singles.
- Â Castillo won his singles matchup 6-0, 6-0 as JSU sealed the 4-0 victory to advance to Saturday's semifinals match.
