JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State released the 2024-25 men's tennis schedule on Tuesday, featuring two teams who participated in the NCAA Tournament a season ago.
 
Jackson State will take the court 25 times over the course of the regular season, beginning with HBCU Nationals on Sept. 19-22. Following HBCU Nationals, the Tigers head to Huntsville, Ala., for their first SWAC competition of the year in the SWAC Fall Tournament on Oct. 4-5.
 
After a few months off, the Tigers hit the road for competition against two in-state programs to open the regular season in Mississippi College (13-10 last season) and Mississippi State (19-8 last season) on Feb. 7 and Feb. 9, respectively. Memphis (19-7 last season) and Nicholls (12-7 last season) are the Tigers' next opponents with both matches being away on Feb. 9 and Feb. 14.
 
They head to Florence, Ala., to face the North Alabama Lions (16-9 last season) on Feb. 22 and then to New Orleans, La., to compete against the New Orleans Privateers (7-10 last season) on Feb. 26. JSU returns home to host Delta State (3-14 last season) on Feb. 28. A March 1 match up against Incarnate Word (19-5 last season) wraps up their non-conference schedule.
 
Conference play opens up with the Tigers competing in the SWAC Pod, featuring matchups against the Prairie View A& M Panthers (2-22 last season), Southern Jaguars (1-15 last season) and defending SWAC champion Alabama State Hornets (14-4 last season) on March 7-9.
 
The Tigers pause conference play to head back to New Orleans for a one-game road trip against Xavier (15-11 last season) on March 22 and return home for a March 23 matchup against Co-Lin (13-8 last season). They return to SWAC play again to play Grambling State on March 27 and compete in the second SWAC Pod from March 28-30.
 
They close out the regular season hosting two matches against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs (6-12 last season) and the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (15-10 last season) on April 5 and April 8.
 
The SWAC Championships will be held in New Orleans April 18-20.
