JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State head men's/women's tennis coach Hernan Geria received a contract extension, announced by the Jackson State University Division of Athletics on Wednesday morning.

Geria becomes the fifth coach in the last three months to receive a contract extension from Vice President/Director of Athletics Ashley Robinson, joining T.C. Last season, Geria was named as co-Coach of the Year in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) on the women's side, helping lead the Lady Tigers to a co-regular season championship. He also helped lead the men to the SWAC Tournament final for the second cosecutive season.
