Itta Bena, Miss.| The Jackson State volleyball continued its remarkable Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) surge Monday night, defeating Mississippi Valley State in straight sets (25–17, 25–12, 25–20) on the road.
The win marked the Tigers' ninth consecutive SWAC victory, improving their record to 11–11 overall and 10–2 in conference play.
Jackson State controlled the match from start to finish, posting a dominant .341 team hitting percentage while limiting Mississippi Valley to .108. The Tigers recorded 42 kills, nine service aces, and three team blocks across the three-set sweep.

Jayden James led the attack with 12 kills on .400 hitting, along with six digs, two aces, and a block. Senior right-side
Hope Briggs continued her efficient run, tallying 10 kills on .421 hitting and two block assists, while
Katejion Robinson hit an impressive .667 with 10 kills on 15 swings.
Setters
Karys Dove and
Naija Gadis orchestrated the offense masterfully, combining for 31 assists. Dove added five aces and a kill, while Gadis totaled 13 assists and two digs.
Kamiera Watkins chipped in four kills and two blocks, and
Kymorah Carter led the defense with five digs and an ace.
