BIRMIMGHAM, Ala. | Jackson State sophomore guard Dorian McMillian was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Impact Player of the Week following his performance against TCU on the road on Monday night.
McMillian recorded his first career double-double in the road loss to the Horned Frogs with 13 points and a career-high 10 rebounds before leaving the game with just under five minutes to play. He also finished with pair of steals while scoring in double figures for the seventh time this season.Â
Jackson State opens conference play on Saturday, Jan. 3 at home against Alcorn State, with a 3 pm tip.
