JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State had four players in double figures as it pulled away from UAPB 94-78 inside the Lee E. Williams Athletics & Assembly Center on Monday night.
Dorian McMillian led Jackson State (8-16, 8-3 SWAC) with 17 points and five rebounds, finishing the night 7-of-11 from the floor with three three-pointers. Keiveon Hunt added 13 points on 4-of-6 from the floor and dished out six assists, while Daeshun Ruffin added 10 points in just 19 minutes of play. Tamarion Hoover added 10 points for the Tigers.
Jackson State finished the night shooting 57.9 (33-of-57) percent from the floor and 41.9 (13-of-31) percent from beyond the arc in the win. They also shot 71.4 (15-of-21) percent from the free throw line. Meanwhile, UAPB shot 43.5 (27-of-62) percent from the floor and 36.8 (7-of-19) percent from beyond the arc. They also finished the night shooting 94.4 (17-of-18) percent from the the free throw line.Â
Doctor Bradley finished with a triple-double for Golden Lions with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Golden Lions made a run late to erase a 30-point deficit. Dante Sawyer added 18 points as UAPB finished with four players in double figures.

Jackson State finished the first half shooting 56.3 (18-of-32) percent from the floor and 47.4 (9-of-19) percent from beyond the arc. They also shot 60.0 (6-of-10) percent from the free throw line. Meanwhile, UAPB finished the first half shooting 36.4 (13-of-33) percent from the floor and 28.6 (4-of-14) percent from beyond the arc. They also shot 100.0 (8-of-8) percent from the free throw line.
The Tigers finished the second half shooting 60.0 (15-of-25) percent from the floor and 33.3 (4-of-12) percent from beyond the arc. They also shot 81.8 (9-of-11) percent from the free throw line. Meanwhile, UAPB finished the second half shooting 51.7 (15-of-29) percent from the floor in the second half and 60.0 (3-of-5) percent from beyond the arc. They also finished the night shooting 90.0 (9-of-10) percent from the free throw line in the second half.
Jackson State won the rebounding battle 36-27.
