JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State fell to Incarnate Word at home on Saturday afternoon, despite winning the doubles point. 

In doubles competition, Alejandro Pinilla and Federico Pickenstainer defeated their opponents 6-4, while Fabrizio Fallas and Jhoan Vaquero won their match 6-2 to give the Tigers the win. 

Vaquero was the lone Tiger to win a singles match with a hard-fought 7-6 win in the first set. The second set was much easier for him as he secured his victory with a 6-2 win. Pinillia also pushed his match to three sets.
