Jackson State Falls to Florida A&M, Set to Face the Rattlers Again Tomorrow

GULFPORT, Miss.| The Jackson State softball team was not able to record a run against Florida A&M's pitcher on Saturday afternoon. The Tiges were shut out, 4-0.

Jorgina Gant (9-7) started and took the loss in the circle for Jackson State .

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Jackson State (28-23) did not advance a runner past second base in the game.
  • The Tigers went 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position, last placing a runner as far as second in the sixth, when Ka'Liyah Gipson made it into scoring position with two outs.
